It was a sunny morning in the Pridelands. The young cub Prince woke up and stretched before finally standing up and started to walk outside.
Simba: Looks like a nice day!

Simbas best friend, Hasani then slowly walked up to the young prince and and started playfully joking with him
Hasani: You know Simba, it's the purrrrrrfect day to go talk to the girl cubs. They're over at the watering hole right now!

(Not bad! Great so far!)

Simba: Okay! Say...is there anyone you have a crush on?

Hasani didn't have to think very hard about this one.
Hasani: She's brave, smart, beautiful, and one day she's going to be my wife. Can I tell you who she is?

Simba: Sure! Tell me!

Hasani: Her name is Nala. I spent yesterday afternoon with her and wow! she managed to pin even me. That's when I knew that we were meant to be.

Simba: NALA!? She's my best friend!!!!...And MY future wife! We are betrothed so...
He stuck his tongue out at his friend

(I know he's his best friend, but to Simba, Nala is his best female friend)

Hasani: Your betrothed? Funny, zazu told me yesterday that Sarafina intended for us to be married....No offense prince, but did zazu tell you the same thing?

Simba: Yeah! But I'd hate to break it to you, BUT SHE IS MINE!

Hasani: Just because you're the prince doesn't mean you can get your way all the time. I know, why don't we have a contest? To see who is more worthy of her heart?
