Vitani opened her blue eyes as the sun rose over the horizon. The young lioness stretched as she looked over the edge of pride rock where she decided to sleep last night. Life had been very boring ever since they moved over to the pride lands. Vitani missed the old days of fighting, the adrenaline from doing her mother's bidding, and the arguments she used to have with Nuka. What she didn't miss however was the termites, the starvation, the snarl of disappointment she constantly heard from her mother, and the dry land. Kovu had become the king after both Simba and Nala had died of old age several months ago. Kovu had three cubs, and Vitani taught each and everyone of them how to fight. Kovu and Kiara were very opposed to it, but Vitani knew it would come to use to the cubs one day.

Vitani sighed in content as she laid down again, knowing the cubs would be the first ones awake, and that they'd bound out the den any minute for a story.

Soon, three little heads peaked out of priderock. "What's Auntie Vitani doing up so early? We are always up first." Shani asked her two siblings. "Phhhfff! Auntie is always up after us! I'm gonna go sneak up on her. Who's with me?" Maua asked as she started stalking at Vitani. Then, she pounced on Vitani. "Hi Aunite Vitani!" Then, Tero and Shani ran to their Aunt.

Vitani smiled as she waited for Maua to get off. "I heard your entire plan from the entrance of the den." Vitani said with a raised eyebrow. "Why are you little ones up so early?" Vitani asked all three of the siblings.

The three smiled. "We have tons of enrgey, unlike you do hehe." Maua giggled. Then, the three sat in a straight line infront of Vitani. "Tell us a story!" Tero dimanded. "Please!" Shani asked.

"A story? This early? Aren't you three hungry?" Vitani asked with a tilt of her head. These cubs really did have alot of energy. "We should probably go visit cousin Adhabu first...Let's hope he's in a good mood today..." Vitani muttered.

Maua mad a mad look. "But I wanna hear a story now." Maua said. Then, she stomped inside of the cave. Tero did what Maua did, and so did Shani.

"Such...bundles of joy..." A dark voice came from the steps leading up to pride rock. There was Adhabu, mane full and black, with deadly amber eyes. He was the mirror image of scar, except for the goatee, and the scar.

"Adhabu. Where have you been?" Vitani asked with a growl.

"Here...there...Everywhere..." Adhabu said with a chuckle.

Meanwhile, a lone lioness was traveling through the pridelands. Her name was Laini. She was Scar's daughter, not only that, but Sarabi's daughter aswell. She then saw priderock. "I can't wait to see my father! But...why are these lands green?" Laini started runnign towards priderock.

Vitani sighed. "Adhabu, why do you always do this kind of thing? Are you trying to draw suspicion to yourself?" Vitani asked with a frown.

"Suspicion? Why would i want to be suspected of doing something wrong?" Adhabu purred with a grin.

Laini soon got to priderock. She went to the back of it. Then, she started to climb to the top of it. Then, she got to her father's lair. "Daddy!" Laini shouted, but, he wasn't there. She sniffed it, he hadn't been there for a while. Then, Laini turned from the beginning of it, it lead to the main den. Then, she saw two figures fron priderock's ledge.
