My Lion King Forum

Soo, the way this is structured is kinda like my RP, the Unexpected Happens (except that's completely dead now. ) because it's all cold and stuff, and Tanesha (my OC) is in a forest area on the far side of the Outlands, except it's just me and LilTiger in this RP.

It was early in the morning now, and Kovu finally stirred awake from his dreams. As he shook his mane and gave his paws a quick lick, he realized that last night he had agreed to stand guard near the front of the cave; at this time of the day, it was very cold, and Kovu instantly knew that. He got up on all four paws and quietly stood in the front of the cave, waiting for someone else in his Pride to awaken.

Meanwhile, on the very far side of the Outlands, many day's walk away to Pride Rock, a small forest grew, with a fair amount of life. Hidden in a cave, waited a small, adolescent lioness named Tanesha, who now was quietly glancing at all of the plants nearby. The cold that had destoyed so much life in the Pridelands had barely struck the forest yet, so Tanesha hardly knew about it, except from the cold blasts of wind that had been coming here recently. Tanesha had been taught how to tell the upcoming by her mother, who had since passed away.

Tanesha looked up at the vines and the tall trees. She was definitely happy here, but at the same time, wanted someone else to talk to; someone to talk about the past..

Simba woke up from a long sleep. He yawned as he woke up. When he got outside, he streatched. Then, he walked down priderock to the waterhole. He got a drink of water. Then, he walked into the water, and swam.

Laini was laying at Scar's place, where he always laid. She grumbled to herself, wishing Simba was dead. But she knew he'd pass away soon. While she's live a little longer than him, besides the fact lionesses lived longer than the males. Because of Simba's oldness, it was a matter of time.

Kovu still kept watch on Pride Rock, even though now Simba had gone off for a trip in the waterhole. She didn't really feel like going there, too, seeing how freezing the water must have been right now.

Deep in the abandoned, freezing area of the Elephant Graveyard, a nearly fully grown lioness named Sykara had finally decided to make her way to the Pridelands, where she would have to deal with her past. It made her worry, but she knew that with Scar dead, she could easily find her way back into a group again. She slowly found her way to Scar's old den, not knowing Laina was there. However, Sykara didn't go in, because she scented that another lion was in the area.

Simba then scurried out of the freezing water. Geez, it's cold in there! Simba thought. Then, his bones started to chill. Then, he started to walk back to priderock.

Laini laid in Scar's den. She smelled a lioness. She was near priderock. Even though she hated Simba, she had to protect priderock. After all, it was her fathers. She got up, and started to walk near the entertance of her father's den.

Sykara quickly edged back even more about sensing more of Laini's movement. She was starting to get worried at what the strange lioness could do to her upon discovering Sykara, and she slowly started to go to Pride Rock, flinching once more at seeing Simba walking back to Pride Rock and Kovu proudly guarding at the top. She looked up at the sun and waited for someone to notice her.

Kovu was still looking straight at the horizon, not having noticed any other living creature so far other than Simba. He breathed in the freezing air and thought that all was going well.

Simba then got back to priderock. "Man! That water's freezing!" Simba said as he shivered as he went up to Kovu. [b"Good morning Kovu. How are you on this cold morning?"[/b] Simba waited for a answer.

Soon, Laini did catch a scent. Then, she then pounced on the figure. She then growled at it. Get away from my den!" Laini growled at the figure. It wasn't anything frightning, it was a lioness, like her.

Kovu looked at Simba with a small but warm smile. "I'm doing fine, Simba. Just a little chilly out here, but gotta stand guard you know." He stood up even taller so as to look tougher.

Sykara was now suddenly put off guard when something pounced on her, and she finally looked head to head at the lioness. She didn't know who Laini was, and didn't feel threatened by her, and she wondered why she had been attacked and was currently being treated like this.

"Allright, allright, I'm no threat to you whatsoever. I'm just looking for somewhere to live at the moment. Now, could you please get off of me?"

Simba smiled at Kovu. "Wanna go to the top today? It's rather cold, but we have manes, we will be warmed."

Laini smricked. "Aright. As long as I know you won't hurt me, you can stay in this den with me." Laini said, as she waited for an answer.
