After the tour, Reese bounded toward the cave. A two tailed yellow teen was waiting for her.
"Hi uncle Tails!" Reese exclaimed.
"You're late. Kelsey's not gonna be happy." The male growled.

The male scowled at him before scooting over to let the cubs pass.
Reese bounded in the dark cave, passing her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She came to the end of the cave and patiently sat down.
A white orb came forward, transforming into Kelsey— Tails' eldest sister and Reese's mother.
"It's long past sundown, Reese." She snarled. "What were you doing this time, young lady?"

(just so you know all echidnas are raised as brutally as you are about to see, even me)
