The lioness walked further and stopped next to the entrance. Fortunately, no one heard or saw her yet. But she could hear everything.
"We still don't know who did it" said one of the Pridelanders, the one with strong and loud voice. "No doubt NO ONE of us could do this. We were all on the borders that day. What about the hyenas? Maybe they returned?"
"No way, Malkia! We checked it out, the Elephant's Graveyard is empty" replied the other lioness.
"So...it seems we have new enemies. It might be the rogue lion or the whole herd. Maybe they're living in the Outlands" said Malkia.
"We have to avenge king Kovu and queen Kiara!" yelled the lionesses.
"Silence! We cannot go to the Outlands, they would easily kill us. We have to wait...To be careful. And the most important thing: we have to find the new lion, or more lions, to protect us. And the next thing: we have to rally the night guardians. This night I will be the one. And...and Nguvu." The lionesses started to whisper, then Malkia spoke again: "Alright. From now, we'll be always hunting together, no one can leave the Pride Rock just by herself. Be careful."
The lioness left the den; it was only a miracle that she didn't notice Tufani. The grey lioness understood it's time to leave. She ran away, quietly as a shadow.

"Tufani." Warrior smiled, "Let us go. It is time." He leads her away from the scene but does not take her to their den, instead he leads her to the Northern cave fronts near the sea.

He smiles and wades into the water until it is up to his elbows. He beckons her into the blue waves. He nuzzles her and washes her face.
