Revenge - Shadowfax and Tsuki [Private]

[Shadowfax]

Nova growled under her breath when Zuberi told her to back off, but she didn't argue back. Finding Vex now was a top priority and she would do anything for her daughter. Meanwhile, the panther in the tree looked down at Zuberi and a smirk spread across her muzzle.

"What's in it for me?" She asked sweetly, gently lying down on the branch and starting to lick her paws out of both boredom and curiosity.

[Tsuki]

Zuberi sighed as Nova seemed to accept what he had said. He was worried that she would argue back but arguing would mean that Vex would be in even more danger. He just hoped they weren't too late. He looked up at the panther and blinked. He hadn't thought about that. But if they got her on their side, she was one more cat to help out with his revenge to overthrow the King. He smirked slightly and looked down at his paws. He started to make patterns in the dirt with his unsheathed claws.

"Oh I don't know. How about an entire kingdom?"

He glanced up at the panther to see her reaction.

The panther stopped cleaning her paw and looked down on the two of them. Did that mean that these two were from the pridelands? That caused her to growl slightly for she hated the pridelanders, but was Zuberi one of them?

"What are you, some sort of king? I thought the only kings were the ones in the pridelands" She said in a sarcastic voice

Nova looked up at the panther and growled.

"Forget it Zuberi, she won't help us"

[Tsuki]

Zuberi glanced at Nova before looking back at the Panther. They needed her help. Whether Nova liked it or not. She clearly knew this area better than any of them and it was always good to have another set of paws to help them with their revenge. They needed as many creatures as they could gather to help them over throw the King. But the King had a pride of loyal Lionesses. They didn't stand a chance with just a few of them. And a Shadow creature may be useful.

"I was once." he said truthfully. "In the lands to the East. Before the Lions took over. When we take over the pridelands we will give you hunting grounds if you help us."

He glanced at Nova, almost begging her not to say anything.

The panther was silent for a moment. She had always wanted to visit the pridelands, but her coat was sure to be a sun magnet and she would overheat easily. But still... She was intrigued by the lands. She smirked and knew that the lioness didn't want her along, but the cheetah did. Maybe he was the leader of this group. Suddenly, she leapt down infront of them as quick as a flash, there she was standing infront of them.

"You got yourself a deal spotty cat" She said innocently.

[Tsuki]

Zuberi frowned slightly at being called a spotty cat but he sighed in relief. Relieved that Nova hadn't said anything and relieved that this new cat would help them not only find Vex but help them with their revenge. With Nova injured, they needed all the help they could get. And a Shadow cat would be particularly useful. Zuberi looked over at Nova, knowing she wasn't happy with the arrangements that he had just made but he hoped they would be able to get along for the sake of Vex.

"Which way did Vex go?" he asked.

[Shadowfax]

The panther looked over at Nova, almost daring her to say something sarcastic to her. For some reason, she felt like the cheetah had a bit of power over the lioness so the panther could relax and be as rude as she wanted. Her icey eyes slowly turned back to Zuberi and she smiled sweetly this time.

"Oh, the little lioness. She was heading into the leopards territory. Not a great idea I must say, but... If you hurry before she reaches the lake.. you might get to her before they do" She almost said cheerfully.

"VEX!" Nova called out, leaping over both Zuberi and the panther into the jungle.

"Oh... I guess she will lead then.. Should have pointed out that... The lake is further to the west..." She giggled.

[Tsuki]

Zuberi's eyes widened in fear as Nova lept over him and he crouched down, afraid that Nova would land on him. But this had happened soon after this Panther had mentioned Leopards. Zuberi frowned slightly.

Leopards? What's so bad about Leopards? They are only smaller spotty cats right...Right?

Zuberi himself had never encountered a Leopard before but he had heard what they looked like from other animals. They weren't very common in his Birthplace and he had never seen one on his travels. He just assumed they stayed out of the way and kept themselves to themselves. But what had spooked Nova so much. Was Vex really in danger? Would these Leopards attack her? He turned back to the Panther and their eyes met. A cold shiver ran down his spine and he shook himself briefly before looking over at the direction Nova had gone.

"We should probably follow her."

[Shadowfax]

The panther smirked gently and nodded before trotting off into the undergrowth after Nova. With her dark coat, it would be hard for Zuberi to keep an eye on her. But she stayed within seeing distance.

"What's your name by the way spotty cat?" She called over her shoulder playfully.

Nova had bolted towards the leopards territory without any thought of the dangers. She wasn't losing Vex like she lost Rayn. She would not lose another cub to those vile creatures.

Zuberi blinked in surprise as the panther almost seemed to merge into the undergrowth. How on earth was he suppose to keep an eye on her and follow Nova at the same time? He stood up and quickly followed her into the undergrowth but fortunately for him, the panther stayed within distance of him so he could still see her. But when the panther asked for his name, he blinked in surprise that they hadn't exchanged this information.

"Zuberi. And the Lioness we are tracking down is Nova. What about yours?"
