My Lion King Forum

This is a post apocalyptic RP. It is based on lions, but they have to survive in a barren land with little food and water. Humans are hunting them and they have to out wit them to survive.
This RP is about a small pride of teenage lions. It is all original characters. Post if you want to be on it, you can have 2 lions in the pride, a rouge lion, and/or be a human hunter.

Chernobyl stood up and stretched looking at the rest of the pride sleeping around her. Her twin brother, Nagasaki, was twitching and muttering in his sleep. He always have been plagued by bad dreams. She looked up at the sky hoping to see the glittering stars again. They were just a faint memory of hers before the sky was covered with clouds and the temperatures dropped.

Nafia stretched once and stood up after a good sleep.
"Hello, Chernobyl, what are you doing?", she asked her friend.

Mio let out a huge yawn and see who else was awake. He normally doesn't do anything weird when he sleeps. He notices Nafia and Chernobyl up and said good morning.

"trying to see the stars again." I remember my mother taking me out at night and pointing out the stars. I used to love them, and now the're gone..." Chernobyl sighed and hung her head sadly. She missed her mother, her father, her pride. Only Nagasaki was left of her original pride. She found and banded together with these other young lions, but none of them are proficient at hunting. Most nights they went to bed hungry.

"Hello, Mio," said Nafia.
She looked in Chernobyl's eyes. She felt really bad for her. She knew her original story pretty well, but hoped she had forgotten about it already.

Well I should go keep watch you never know what dangers await us. He knew this was going to be hard to survive in this environment. He just had to keep his head high. His parents were killed by hunters.

"Hey Mio," Chernobyl said barely looking at him. She liked him, he was a good friend to her and the other female lions, but it seemed like he and Nagasaki couldn't get along, and she had to stick with her twin. Plus he always seemed to be so superior, like he knew everything.

Gale was making somewhere nearby a campfire with some stones and sticks. ''This small fire should keep wild animals out of this area'' He thought, while loading his rifle. ''I've got some lion-hunting to do. But first I need to find some food in these lands.'' He said, while walking away carrying his rifle on his back, and a hunting knife in his pocket.

In that moment, Nafia walked aside. She wanted to stay with her friend, but she couldn't get pictures of her own family out of her head. She remembered her mother and brother. But both of them died, a long time ago. She never found out why.
