My Lion King Forum

Plot: The ruling lions are old and past their prime, so young nomad lions come in and try to take the pride. when a pride is taken over all the young cubs are killed, so the lionesses with cubs are trying to protect the pride from the invading lions, but the younger females want the nomad lions to become king. So Ruzuna and his brother are trying to keep their pride together, and defend against the invaders.

Aza was off playing with her brothers happy. She was pampered and protected all the time, so actually being able to play fight with them was a new experience, and one she was starting to hate. Her brothers kept beating her.

Ibadah pounced on top of Aza and toppled her over. He was having fun. Aza was too easy to beat, but she had never fought before, because their mother and father didn't like it.

Abla was walking along and saw Fathi and Ibadah fighting with their sister. She immediately put a stop to it, not wanting her daughter to get hurt.

"But mom..." Fathi whined, he enjoyed playing with his little sister, and teaching her how to fight. "It's not like we're hurting her, and she wanted to play too."

"It's fine if you teach her how to fight, but don't actually fight with her until you think that she is more experienced! Oh, and Fathi, don't forget that dad wants to see you at sunset"

Ibadah was bored now. Then he thought of something. "Hey mom, can I go see Akila?" he asked.

Aza was upset that her mother ruined her fun and sulked off to find her friends Nyatui and Tahro. She was pouncing through the grass, when she tumbled onto another lion. one she hasn't met before. she looked at the black and white cub inquiringly wondering who she was.

Benedict was bored, he yawned un enthusiastically in the hot african sun, suddnely he grins evily as he sees Aza he stands up slowly. "Vell if it aint von of those King spawns...THis shall be fun!." The blonde lion tapped Aza on the shoulder making the young cub turn around. "BOO!"

Awali was off in his own world, as it normally is. More specifically, observing the herd of wildebeest eating. It had always interested him, the way the animals were so calm, knowing they were slowly being hunted. Awali wondered how, or why, they were able to keep a whole herd if the Pride was always picking them off one by one.
