This is an RP between me and KingKovu44.

Summary:
This RP is digging deeper into the life of Kiara from what we saw and didn't see in TLK:SP. It'll start at the birth of Kiara that we saw in TLK:SP, and fill in some gaps or just express how the character was feeling at points.

Nala had just given birth to her first daughter, Kiara, a few minutes ago. News had spread around the Pride Lands fast, and all the animals were showing up for it. Nala was pleased with how far she'd come in life. She thought about the day when she had found Simba out away from the Pride Lands, and knew that, if she hadn't found him, she wouldn't be where she was right now. She looked at the newborn cub. It looked a lot like Simba, but had a fur color that was like Simba's but lighter. She had reddish eyes, much like Simba. She listened for her time to come out with Kiara for the presentation.

Simba smiled at his wife, then growled slightly, giving her the signal to emerge from the den.

Nala nodded, then picked up Kiara by the scruff and walked out of the den. At the top, they were greeted by Rafiki, who gave them a hug. Nala gave him Kiara.

As Mufasa's ghost watched with pride from the realm of the great kings and queens, Rafiki held the cub high for all to view. Afterward, he anointed Kiara with fruit juice and returned her to her parents.

Kiara nuzzled with her parents affectionately. Nala listened to Timon and Pumbaa's conversation.

Timon began talking with Pumbaa for a moment. However, upon hearing that the cub was a girl, they fainted, hitting the ground with a thud.

Nala laughed, and Kiara clapped her paws, apparently thinking it was just an act or something. Nala carried the young cub back into the den, where her mother was waiting. The two nuzzled together for a minute. "Can you watch over her for a minute please?" Nala asked.
"Of course." Sarafina replied. Nala left Kiara and Sarafina and went to talk to Simba. "Hey. I've been observing Kiara. She looks a lot like you." she commented.

Simba chuckled. "Maybe so, but I'm sure she'll start displaying some of your traits as well. At least I hope so," he said, remembering his own parents for a moment.

Nala leaned up against him. "Maybe she'll have good fighting skills like me." she said, smiling. "I could already tell by the way how she acted with the leaves in the wind that she would be a strong fighter." She pinned Simba down. "And maybe even a good pinner."
