Title: Heir Of Evil

Story: The Pridelands are at peace. Sarabi is pregnant, and will soon deliver Mufasa's heir. However, Scar and Zira, suffering from the ongoing issue of being unable to have cubs to help them in their scheme to rule the Pridelands, decide to steal the cub as soon as it is born. Soon enough, Simba is born and is stolen by Scar and Zira that night as everyone sleeps. Simba is then raised as Scar and Zira's son in the Elephant Graveyard, enduring a rough existence of training so that he may one day kill Mufasa and Sarabi. Time passes, and Simba is now a scruffy but handsome young adult. One day, while on a spy mission in the Pridelands, he meets Nala (who was born only a day or two after him). After spending time with her and beginning to fall in love with her, he begins to question everything Scar and Zira taught him.

Mufasa couldn't have been happier at the announcement of Sarabi's news that she was pregnant. "Oh Sarabi, that's wonderful news. Come, we must tell the others," he said as he began to head back into the den.

Soon the whole Pride knew and most were congradulaing the queen. Except for two, scar and his mate Zita. They were both unable to concieve children, and this was a constant reminder. It played into Ahdi's choice to choose Mufasa as his heir. Scar and Zira were at Scar's cave, far from the celibrating Pride. "My Dear Zira I swear upon my life I shall deliver you a child and make us the rulers of this kingdom!" Scar declared, nuzzling his mate.

Zira growled. "And just how do you intend to do that? Kidnapping Sarabi's cub from her side as she sleeps?" she asked, intending this as a sarcastic remark.

Scar smiled. "Preciesly my love." Scar said as he explained his plan in detail.

Zira moved around him. "And how do you intend to care for a cub? I'm not producing milk," she said.

" Nor can you, fear not, I told Zuri the Hyena about the Pregnancy, and she expects a young pup of her own, she will nurse the cub as well." Scar assured her.

Zira frowned. "Hyenas are disgusting, mangy beasts. However, it will have to do. Now, we must get ready for Sarabi to give birth," she said. She then had a thought. "We must teach the cub that Pridelanders are his or her enemy and must be destroyed at all costs," she added.

" Only until they are conquered my dear Zira, why kill when you can command. It is better to control than to simplely kill." Scar smiled as they made Plans.

By the time they were ready, the cub had been born. a healthy baby boy named Simba.

Mufasa was incredibly proud of his new son. He looked at Sarabi. "Oh Sarabi, he will be a mighty king one day! I will make sure of it," he said.

Zira looked at Scar. "Tonight is the night, Scar. When they sleep, we take him," she said.
