I used our nicknames in the title because it was shorter. Anyway, this is a private RP that ScarGirl99 and I thought up and stars TheLionQueen.

Title: Cub To King

Story: Simba does not fall for Scar's mind games, and returns to Pride Rock, telling Sarabi everything. After defending him from an enraged Scar, Sarabi takes him and the others to the jungle, where Simba is raised to adulthood, falling in love with Nala as a teen. As an adult, he returns to become king.

It was the worst moment of Simba's life. His father had just died in a stampede of wildebeests. Worse, his Uncle Scar and Aunt Zira had told him that it was his fault and that he should leave the Pridelands. However, instead of leaving, he decided to run back to Pride Rock as fast as his little legs would carry him. Finally, he arrived. "MOM!" he called out, his throat sore from crying.

Sarabi heard Simba and ran to him, "What's wrong Simba." She asked in a paniced voice.

Simba rushed up and buried his face in Sarabi's left front leg. "THERE WAS A WILDEBEEST STAMPEDE AND DAD DIED TRYING TO SAVE ME, BUT UNCLE SCAR AND AUNT ZIRA SAID IT WAS MY FAULT!" he said.

"What!!! Mufasa!" Sarabi said picking Simba up in her mouth and running up priderock dropping him gently she shouted into the den, "MUFASA is dead!" Sarabi looked at her son, "Simba bring us all there please." She asked simply, "I know it hurts to go back there but, please." She asked.

Simba stepped back. "But Uncle Scar and Aunt Zira are still there!" he said in protest.

"Then I will do something. Right now." Sarabi said. "Simba stay here Nala and SArafina will stay with you. The rest of the lioness's will come with me, Scar and Zira will pay now."

Simba nodded, then looked to Nala and Sarafina, still too sad to say anything.

Nala quickly went up to Simba, "I'm so sorry Simba." She said nuzzling her friend.
Sarafina also went up to Simba, she put a paw on his back and then licked his head.
Sarabi looked at her son he reminded her so much of Mufasa, he was like a clone, "Simba, where did this happen?" She asked about to burst into tears.

Simba sniffled. "It happened in the gorge. Uncle Scar told me that Dad had a surprise for me and then the stampede started. I saw Dad fall, then I tried to wake him up, but he wouldn't move. That's when Uncle Scar and Aunt Zira showed up," he said.
