OOC & Discussion
A nearly jaw-popping yawn came from the ash gray cub as she stretched, little black claws scraping against the den floor. Siri's clay colored orangish-red eyes were quick to settle on Sarabi outside the den, before cheerfully trotting over to the King's mother and nuzzling her with a raspy purr. The much older lioness' head lightly pressed against the cub's back affectionately, laughing lightly.
"Good morning to you too, Siri," Sarabi said, smiling as the cub's ears perked forward, sitting down in front of her.
One of the gray cub's ears twitched curiously as she glanced around, not seeing Kopa or Nuka. Her head tilted as she looked back to where Sarabi lay on the short but long rock in the sun, charcoal black tail tuft swishing back and forth hopefully.

Sarafina lazily sauntered over to Siri, "Hi, did you just wake up?" she asked, stretching.

At the moment, Simba had just awoken. The handsome red-maned lion yawned and began to move towards the warm sunlight.

(OOC: You're allowed to post, but let's keep flooding to a minimum so people aren't left in the dust.)
Siri nodded in response to Sarafina's question, tail swishing almost akin to a jackal. The cub glanced over at hearing the heavier paw steps of a lion, briefly bowing her head in greeting towards Simba as the half-awake King moved towards the sunning rocks. Her clay colored eyes flicked back towards Sarafina and Sarabi after a moment, before nodding towards the still mostly full den. More or less asking where the boys had gotten off to.

Sarafina smiled sweetly and yawned, "Mm, Sarabi, another pleasent morning. I can't fall back asleep with weather this nice! Any of the cubs need to go to the water hole?" she offered.

Sarabi smiled, her brown tail tuft slowly swishing up and down. "That it is. Siri might want to go, although I'm not sure where Nuka went off to this morning. Probably with Kopa, though, knowing them," the retired Queen chuckled, shaking her head as she glanced at the ash gray cub. "So, would you like to go with Sarafina?"
Siri's ears perked, before nodding and jumping to her paws. Trotting ahead of Sarafina for a little bit, before stopping at the slope down from the sunning rocks to glance back at them, muzzle twitching akin to a smile.

Sarafina chuckled lightly and padded her way down the slope. "Alright, Siri, we're off to the water hole!" she announced. She strectched her front legs and began to lead Siri to the oasis.

Siri's ears were perked forward as she trotted alongside the older lioness, smaller legs needing a little more speed to keep up with her. Breathing in the clean air as they walked along, fresh from last night's rain. Her small paws lightly bounded from one boulder to another as they reached the steeper part of the Priderock slope, before meeting the worn dirt trail. She glanced up at the older lioness as they moved along, offering a raspy purr to the older lioness in place of conversation.

(Will be offline for a while, maybe. Apologies)
Sarafina looked down at Siri and smiled lovingly, "We can stay by the water hole for a while if you want, there aren't really any predators to fear when I'm here." she said reassuringly. They finally arrived at the destination. Sarafina lowered her head, lapping water.
