Weary travellers in a land of ice find themselves together, meeting in the mountains to find they are all travelling to the same place: The Pridelands. Guided by a mountain lioness, they find there way there - and that the pridelanders are starved. The antelope are sick with a horrible illness. Some of the lionesses blame Simba and seek to berid the lands of the plague by getting rid of Simba. It's up to the others to save him.

Mhuni stretched, waking from her catnap. She had been banished from her pride not long ago, and was on her way to a better future. The deep snow was up to her stomach, and was difficult to travel in. But she moved on, only stopping for a small meal, like a stray reindeer. She spotted a figure on the horizon. If it was a meal or friendly lion, she wanted to be near. But if it was an enemy, she wanted to be away with it. She crouched into the snow, only letting her eyes appear above it.

Jasiri gasped as cold wind peirced his grayish-brown fur. He was a perfect lion to blend in here. It didn't mean he liked it. He shuddered and hunched his shoulders, suddenly feeling a haunting presence as if being watched. He straightened up. Pull yourself together, Jasiri! You're brave! he told himself, turning. "Anyone there? I won't hurt you as long as you won't hurt me!" he called, suddenly hoping that he wouldn't scare off any potential prey.

Charle sat quietly under a shady tree he was getting ready to go to the pridelands in a few minutes he had just awoke from a long sleep. He yawned and started to walk, he was walking towards the mountains he hated the cold peeks of thenmountains but sadly it was the only way to get to the pridelands.

Mhuni heard a voice, possibly the figure she saw. "Are you friend or foe?" she ventured nervously.

"Depends," called Jasiri. "What about you? I'm no naturally aggressive lion, but if I'm in danger I'll fight. Otherwise I'm a friend." He looked around, almost frustrated that he couldn't find who was talking to him.
--
Nyama leaped over a boulder, looking around from the cliffside. She could see for miles. Nothing but grasslands! But it was so far away... she shifted uncomfortably. Those were the pridelands. She'd been there beefore. But now something was different.

"I have no wish to harm you if you have no wish to harm me," she called, running toward the figure. It took a long time, as the snow was deep, but she did finally make it. "I'm here," she panted. "Mhuni, at your service. I'm looking for the Pridelands; do you know where it is?"

Jasiri pirked up a bit. "My name's Jasiri. You're on your way to the pridelands, too? I've got an idea of where it is. See those mountains?" he looked up at the rocky spires. "Past them. There's where it is." he smiled at Mhuni. "We'll have a better chance of getting there if we aren't alone."
--
Nyama sighed, shaking her head. She leaped off the boulder nimbley, glad for her muscular build. She trottedd back toward the dens were her pride stayed. She wanted to go to the Pridelands; something wasn't quite right.

Kidogo quickly opened his eyes and his ears suddenly perked up at the sounds of voices outside. Usually, Kidogo would be very tired and only very slowly make his way outside but this was different. These voices were unknown and were possibly a danger to him. Kidogo pushed himself off of the floor inside the hollowed out tree trunk and tentatively walked outside onto the snow.
Kidogo immediately noticed a lion and a lioness and almost decided to stay as far away as possible from them. Curiousity got the better of Kidogo, though, and he ran behind the nearest bush. This meant that he was quite close to the two now but that didn't matter to him.
He quickly sprinted across the open, aiming to get to another bush. Before he could even get halfway, however, he tripped over a rock that was partially hidden under the snow and he tumbled across the snow, picking up a lot of snow in his fur. He glanced towards the lion and lioness and scrambled to his paws, staring at the two, waiting until they made a move. He wasn't about to run away like a coward.
