Kipekee was called to her father's cave, she didn't know why but she knew it couldn't be good. Being the only female was hard and she would have to go out and hunt food, even though she was so young.

Mano has only been waiting for his daughter's arrival for a few seconds, but it was enough to get him impatient. "There you are..." he wasn't lashing out at her just to make it more amusing when he actually did, "This pride's food will not hunt itself."

Kipekee entered the cave and looked at her father, she heard his words and stared to the ground, "I'm sorry Father...do you think one of the males may help me?". She didn't know what to expect for an answer, probably a no.

Mano was about to laugh and say no like he usually did to his daughter, but he remembered talking to Akida earlier that day. To be honest, he saw Akida as his child way more than Kipekee. "Akida will accompany you. He's somewhere around... I don't care." he laughed and left.

Kipekee frowned, "Not Akida!" she thought to herself. Akida was older than her, stronger than her and often teased her. The thing is, she knew he fancied her aswell. She went outside and soon saw him, she walked up to him slowly, "Akida?".

Mano just laughed as his daughter left. Akida looked at Kipekee as she showed up with his usual evil grin, "What's up dweeb?"

Kipekee growled/sighed, she really hated Akida. "My father has asked if you would.... accompany me on the hunt now". She felt somewhat nervous around him, it was a strange feeling like she was being looked at in a funny way.

Akida's grin remained, "Did he now?" sounded like he's cue. "Let us go hunt something then." he said, still staring at her, "We don't want your father to get mad do we?" he laughed.

Kipekee shuddered and tried not to think of her father angry. She was a rather pretty lioness, but usually covered in scars and bruises. "Let's go then...." she replied quietly, Kipekee turned and began to walk away, waiting for Akida to catch up.
