This is a private RP between me, NatalieTheLionQueen ,KingKovu44 and Sixshot1988. Set in the Pridelands some time after SP.

A group of humans enter the Pridelands and show no intention of leaving anytime soon. The lions of Pride Rock must adapt to this new situation, or perish. Or is there another option?

Hamet moved along, glad to finally be old enough to strike out on his own. His parents and pride members had wished him well before he left, and said that he would be accepted should he ever wish to return. The young lion doubted this would be the case, but he still missed them a bit. His mind then turned to the next big thing on his agenda: finding the love of a good lioness and starting his own pride.

Kiara had just awoken from a quick nap. Yawning, she turned to check if Kovu was still lying in the shade next to her, but he wasn't - in fact, there was no sign of him anywhere. "Maybe he's gone for a walk." she mumbled to herself as she sat up, the sun warming her face. If that was indeed the case she didn't really blame him, it was a beautiful day. Picking up a strange scent in the air, she rapidly scanned the vast landscape, the kingdom that would one day be hers. Seeing nothing, however, she frowned, wondering if she was simply overreacting or if there was something out there, too far away for her to see but still very much present - and possibly dangerous. "I better tell dad." She concluded, dashing down the side of Pride Rock to find Simba.

Simba was relaxing on his favorite sunning rock when he heard Kiara's voice. "What is it?" he asked when he finally saw her.

"I..I'm not sure." She gasped, looking at him, "I just smelled something odd, I think there might be someone out there! Approaching us!"

"Then come on. We'll go investigate together," Simba said as he got up. "Show me where the smell was coming from," he added.

Kiara sniffed the air once again.
"It comes from over there. Close to the Southern border, I think." She gazed at her father. "I sure hope it's nothing dangerous." she said anxiously.

"Kiara, I want you to stay close to me, just in case it is dangerous," Simba stated as he began to head for the direction of the smell.

Kiara nodded to show her father that she had understood his instructions. She looked up to him a lot and saw this as an opportunity to show him that she could handle situations like this, which was a quality that any good ruler of a kingdom had to possess. "I will, father." she said.

"Thank you, Kiara. I can tell that you're going to make a great queen one day," Simba said as he began to walk in the direction of the smell.
