Zuzu: Uru! I've scanned all the Pridelands and I can't find either of 'em!

Uru: *grumbling, swaying with discontentment* Where on Earth could those two have gone?!

Zuzu: We need Ahadi's help, milady.

Uru: But Ahadi's off doing his... 'kingly duties.' The cubs disappeared right after he left. Did they try to follow him? I'll bet they did. Ahadi just can't seem to shake his sons off. I don't know what kind of danger or situation Ahadi could be in, or maybe he's on dangerous terrain. I'm going to scan the eastern side, glide through the west.

Zuzu: Yes, milady.

Having eaten especially well last night, Mipa had been having a nice sleep in the sunshine until Zuzu started her squaking. She sat up with a start and blinked, licking her lips as she listened. Once they had finished she said,

"Zuzu, if you can't see them it probably means they're hiding in the grass somewhere. Your majesty,"
she said, looking at Uru,
"Maybe you'd have better luck smelling for them?"

Suddenly a roar, or an ear-splitting imitation of a roar, came from a distance.

Zuzu: Yeesh, what racket! Those birds need to clam up for a while.

Uru swiveled her head left and right, until she spotted the dark brown lump of fur in the grass.

Uru: Taka, baby, where have you been!

Taka scoffed and growled. As usual, Ahadi was dedicating his attention all to Mufasa, shunning little Taka away.

Uru: Baby, tell me what happened.

"Mom, as usual I'm the least considered...."
Taka put on a grouchy face, and his claws started to peer out.

Uru shook her head.

Zuzu: Oh?

Uru to Zuzu, in a whisper: Ahadi never gives Taka attention. It's taking it's toll, I can see that.

Zuzu: Oh, goodness. A son needs his father. Why is Ahadi doin' this?

Uru: Because Ahadi, well... Ahadi...

Mipa layed there, listening in. She decided to put in her own two-bits about this ordeal...

Mipa could see the way Uru looked to her. There was sadness in her eyes that made Mipa's heart sting.

"Well," she said, "I suppose I could go talk to the king? I know you're his wife and everything, Uru, but maybe he just needs an outside opinion?"

She gave her warmest smile.

Uru: Alright Mipa. Ahadi should listen to the most clever lion in the lands, if his head is screwed on right.

Uru watches as Mipa walks off.

Uru: My little Taka! Ugh... that boy really needs his dad. Damn it, Ahadi!

Zuzu: You should discuss this with Ahadi after tonight's dinner, milday. When both you and Mipa say the same thing, he's more likely to actually listen. Heck, I'll even throw in my two-bits.

Uru: That's what I was thinking. My poor baby doesn't deserve to be treated like dirt.

Taka apeared behind the far rock in the main den, "mom, I am dirt..."
