Kovu and Kiara have 3 female cubs, one older (Kweli) and two in one litter (Lebu and Hila). Lebu and Hila are the "bad" sisters and Kweli is the "good" sister. Kweli has always been honest and kind, but abit clumsy and makes mistakes easily, whereas Lebu and Hila have always impressed their parents, but are very brown-nosed and suckup-ish. All they want is the pride, and have very little dependancy on each other. Because of Kweli's clumsyness and Lebu and Hila's apparent good behaviour, Kovu and Kiara have to decide who to be next in line, and Lebu and Hila decieve him, telling him that Kweli is not good enough. Kovu decides to teach Lebu, and Kweli leaves because she feels useless. (This happens at about the age Kiara and Kovu were at the end of SP)
On her adventures, Kweli meets Tuzo and his sister Joto. Tuzo convinces her to go back and claim her pride after they grow into adulthood.
When they return, Kweli must face her nasty sisters...



Kweli is Sarabi's colour, with a pridelander nose and green eyes. Sweet yet Naiive nature.
Lebu is Kovu's colour, but slightly darker with blue eyes and an outlander nose. The leader of the two bad sisters.
Hila is light gold, almost Nala's colour and a pridelander nose with red/orange eyes. She's the "pretty one"
Tuzo is light cream with a brown mane and blue eyes, and a pridelander nose. Very wise.
Joto is red, like scar with brown eyes and a pridelander nose. She's the comic relief.

The story will start off when Kiara and Kovu pick Lebu as future queen....

"Kovu!" Kiara shouted. It was early morning and today was the day Kiara and Kovu had to chose one of there daughters to become Queen. She saw Kovu and bounded up to him. "Good morning dear" Kiara said sweetly. "So, is Lebu our final decison?" she added quietly. She quickly looked around, she saw her two daughters, Lebu and Hila waiting impateintly. She also saw her eldest daughter. Kweli, shifting around nervously. "Well, Kovu?"

Kweli knew that she would'nt be chosen. Even though she was the oldest, she was always so clumsy with decisions and found the thought of ruling overwhelming. She hoped that her father would understand this- he had a hard time ruling after her grandfather's death. She looked to her sisters, and felt even more alone. She sighed and waited for her father's decision.

Hila stood silently in the background as her parents discussed their heritage. The conversation seemed to dwell longer than the primpy lioness had wanted, so she began licking her paw vigorously after a small "Huff!" on her part. Tongue lapping in and out, around and back, and in small circles, Hila cleaned her now ruffled light gold fur. Hila, despite her haughty and vain personality, was quite a beautiful young lioness. Her golden - carnation eyes glistened and gleamed, and her pelt was a soft gold. After having thouroughly cleaned herself, she stood erect beside her sisters Lebu and Kweli.

"Fat chance Kweli will be Mother and Father's heritage," she muttered as she sneered at her nervously shifting sister. Glancing over at her other sister, Lebu, Hila almost burst laughing before catching herself and mumbling under her breath again, "Not much chance of ugly Lebu over there will ever be a queen." She ruffled her chest fur as she proudly stuck it out into the air. I'm much more regal and queenly than those two... twitter-birds, she thought vainly.

Kweli heard Hila's nasty mutter but tried to ignore it. She felt her lip trembling. This is it. I'll never be queen. I'm such a failure she thought. She looked to her feet and prepared herself for the answer she knew was coming.

Kiara started to get impatient, she wanted this to be over and done with. She had never liked the fact that she'd have to choose one of her three children. Kiara also had heard Hila's statement and decided to say nothing. "So Kovu, Lebu is our final descion?"

"I believe so." He smiled, a fake smile. He didn't want to choose only one of his cubs. Yet, he knew Lebu was the best to choose.



OOC: Sorry for not posting! I forgot I was one of the main characters D: (Sorry)!!

"hila!" "i bet IM gonna be future ruler!" i said, bragging, even though i wasn't certion that i would be, i tryed to erase that thought out of my head, then i turned around impesiontly, those few minutes our parents were discussing felt like hours to me, then i joined hila in making fun of Kweli

Kiara nodded. "Well lets go tell them.." she said anxiously. She padded towards her daughters. "Now, my 3 beautiful girls, we have come to a decision" she added, "Kovu, you tell them!" she whispered into his ear.

"It was a hard chose but we concluded with-" He paused for a moment, adding momentum. "Lebu, being our future queen!" Kovu smiled at Kiara and Lebu. *She is going to be the best* Kovu thought for a moment.
