Plot =
Kiara and Kovu take the throne after the sudden death of Simba and Nala, a while later Kiara gives birth to three cubs, Nguvu, Shia and Durba. Kovu being King has to choose one of these cubs to become King/Queen, when the cubs were adolescents, Kovu chooses Nguvu. However Durba isn't happy with the decision and plots to kill his brother, after trying to talk to Shia about his plans to kill Nguvu, Shia is outraged and tries to tell Kovu. Durba then murders Shia and runs away, he meets a group of lions, Baya, Uki, Zimu and her twin sons Damu and Kion, and starts to plan to take over the Kingdom. While there he falls in love with Baya the lead female and becomes the Pride's leader. Meanwhile Kovu and Kiara continue to rule and Nguvu falls in love with a lioness called Uzuri After three years Durba attacks the PrideLands along with his son Giza.

Pride Rock glistened in the morning sun. Kiara woke up to see Kovu wasn't beside her, she didn't find this unusual as he was an early bird. She got up, stretched out and let out a massive yawn. She padded out of her cave and down to a small water pool which served as a private water source for the Pride. Kovu was there like usual, "Good morning"

Kovu looked at Kiara, the love of his life. "Good morning, beautiful," he told her.

Kiara giggled, it had been a few days since she smiled. The passing of her mother and father was a tragedy. They had been appointed the thrown early than thought. "King and Queen, eh Kovu", "I hope my mother and father will be proud of me"

"I think they will. I know I am," Kovu said with a smile.

"Thanks Kovu" Kiara nuzzled her partner. "Shouldn't you be doing your rounds", "Zazu wants to speak to you, to give you the morning report" Kiara added and smirked.

Kovu stood up. "You're right. I will return soon," he said. The new king nuzzled his beloved, and then left to perform his royal duties.

Kiara watched as her mate fade away behind Pride Rock. She turned around and headed some where else, Rafiki's tree. Something had been bothering her lately, even before her parents died. Soon after she arrived at Rafiki's tree. "Ah so how can I help you today Queeny?" "Hello Rafiki, ummm, I just like you to give me a check up" Kiara replied "Ahh very well"

As he made his rounds, Kovu thought of Kiara. His mate and queen meant everything to him. He couldn't wait to get back to her.

"So Rafiki, anything new?" Kiara asked. "Well my Queen, big big news" Rafiki said excitedly "You are expecting my Queen, 3 cubs" "WHAT??!?!" "This is amazing!" "Thank you Rafiki!" Kiara leaped towards Rafiki and hugged him. As she turned to leave she saw Kovu padding up to her. "Kovu, guess what?"
