"Father..?" Kiara choked as she approached her father's limp body. Kovu caught up to her and saw Simba's dead body laying in the gorge. He slowly walked towards Kiara and her father. He wore a stony gaze as he looked from the stunned Kiara to the lifeless Simba. Kiara shed a tear but her face remained unchanged. She couldn't believe he was gone. First: Nala, who went missing a month ago and now Simba: who died trying to find her. Kovu noticed several scratches on Simba's fur. He approached his corpse and took a deeper look. Simba's body had scratches all over, especially around his face and neck. There were bite marks on his back and neck, and blood was staining his mane. Kovu looked back at Kiara. "He was murdered." he said, grimly.


Plot: This RP takes place several months after the final scene of TLK2: Simba's Pride. Simba's body was found in the gorge a month after Nala's disappearance. With Kovu as the new King, things aren't running so smoothly. The inexperienced Kovu never really discussed the Kingship with Simba. Simba had never anticipated he would need a heir so quickly. King Kovu must deal with the pressures of Kingship, while trying to sort out the mystery of Nala's disappearance and Simba's murder. Not to mention the added pressures of becoming a father in the future. But he must work quickly, the terrorist might be an enemy from within, and his clock is ticking.

Rules: Sorry, but NO made-up characters in this RP (Canon Only) except for those that I bring in. This is a strict RP, meaning you cannot act as someone else's character whatsoever, nor can you join as your own character. You can only be one character. Please, only join as a character if you're willing to actively participate in the RP. Don't join as a main character and then disappear for a week. Of course, RL issues come up. Please post in advance and notify the other RPer's so we can put the RP on pause. Again this is a very strict RP. Only serious RPer's allowed.

Kokota had a brownish gold fur coat and freckles on his head when Rafiki took him from Kiara's arms. The old Rafiki walked up to the edge of Pride Rock and presented the cub to the animals. Their future King growled and swiped at the air. Then Rafiki brought him back to his parents. Kovu and Kiara nuzzled Kokota and smiled. He looked up at them with yellow eyes and smiled back. The presentation had finished. Vitani was first in line to congratulate the new parents. After her were Timon and Pumbaa, senior advisors to King Simba. They still hadn't recovered from his death, even though it has been several months.

When do we start?

We're gonna have to wait for kovu42 and Amanda to say they're still willing to participate.

Serra20 is our Vitani now, everyone. We WILL be using colors in posts. We will need active participation in this RP. We also need to fill in character slots so if you still want to join you can.

I'm still more than willing to participate in this rp, but my internet is just completely out of whack right now... I'll get on as much as I physically can, but I'm just sayin I might be missing for a day or two every now and then.

That should be fine, then. We just need Amanda's status report!

The morning sun lit the Pridelands with a golden color. Sunlight peaked into the den and Kokota awoke. Although he was still quite sleepy, he hobbled to his feet and let out a little yawn. Kovu and Kiara's son was just a cub still, he had a brownish gold coat with a black tuft of hair on his head. The little prince never got to meet his grandparents, Simba and Nala. Nala had disappeared and Simba had been killed. His parents kept this truth from him, even though both of them knew they were in great danger. The killer is still out there, and it won't be long before it strikes again. Kokota turned his sleepy eyes on his parents. They were still snoozing. Kiara was perfectly content and breathed quietly while Kovu was making an obnoxious noise with his throat. Sometimes Kovu kept Kokota up at night. His snores echoed through the den.

Vitani woke up from the sleep.She opened her sleepy eyes and slowly stood up.She saw Kokota woke up and smiled at him.She slowly walked outside of the cave and yawned.She walked away from Pride Rock to drink from the river near it.Later she started to chase antelopes.She caught baby antelope and took to the cave.She ate a bit,layed down and started to wait for others to get up.She call Kokota."Kokota,come if you're hungry!There's food!"she quietly said and yawned again.She still was tired.
