"You guys should be more aware" The cub laughed, smirking before looking up the large rock at the two lions her expression changed.

As Simba nuzzled Nala, Mlezi paused uncertainly with a paw up as if reconsidering. Her ears were flat again.

Nala just looked at the newcomer with a serious expression, sizing her up. She wondered who this cub might be and what's her next move. Kion, on the other paw, was a little excited, thinking the place might be lively with the new addition.

The cub found herself too frightened to move, let alone say anything as the King stood up to full height. "Kion, who's this?"

"My friend, Dad. Could we let her stay for a while?" Kion asked in a confident tone.

He looked disapprovingly at them, "An outlander… you recall what happened last time you trusted one?"

"Maybe things will turn out differently this time?" Kion gave a forced smile.

Simba turned to his mate, "What do you think, Nala?"

Mlezi stepped back in fear, considering running.

"Where are your parents, little one?" Nala stepped closer to Mlezi. "We need to find out more about this cub first."

"D-don't know… Don't even know my own parents." The cub shied away from them, "I'm an abandoned cub. The Lion Guard saved me…"
Still she sent the Honey Badger a certain look, because of what some had called her. Shar.

"Really? But your eyes is like some lion I have seen before?" Nala crouch closer, looking straight into her eyes.
