[Stormy]

Liv puts little to no pressure on her injured paw as she began to walk. It became a very apparent limp, but she was walking no less. “Back on the path we go.”

"Alright. I believe you'll start to recover as we go along. It won't be too long of a journey to the other side of the hill," Dakota said, her tone encouraging.

[Stormy]

“I hate to ask, but uh, do you mind if I lean on ya every now and then? I’m basically walking on three right now, and it’s bound to get tiring.” Liv asked slightly embarrassed. “And if the other side of the hill isn’t far, I shouldn’t have to do it much.”

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

“Oh, no worries. I’m always here for you. In fact, I was about to ask if you’d be okay with me lifting you up or giving you balance but wasn’t sure if you’d be comfortable with that. I’m happy to help. And if you get tired we can stop and rest under the shades.”

[Stormy]

"Thanks." Liv replied with a faint smile, before they began to walk down the path again. A bit slower, but still moving regardless. "So... have you met any other lions besides me?" Liv asks curiously.

[MeerkatOnTheMoon]

“I’ve met a mom and her two cubs once. They were wanderers and have been living here and there. At times they’d return to their pride but they just love adventures,” Dakota recalled.

[Stormy]

"Huh. Interesting." Liv replies. "Normally lionesses like to keep their cubs at the pride. I remember how restrictive my mother was." She says with a slight eye roll. "How long ago did you meet them? Would the cubs be full grown by now?"

“I think it was several months ago. They might still look the same. Wow you really are from a restrictive family. Did your mom keep insisting you stick with your pride at all times?” Dakota asked.

[Stormy]

Liv nods her head. “It’s why I left. Even as I grew up. They were protective, but it was way too much. I had no freedom whatsoever. It probably wasn’t the best to leave without telling most of them.... but still. I had to get out of there.”

"It's great to have you here. Maybe they'll eventually be more open knowing you can live independently."
