Okay, on Sunday 28th of March (today), at 6:45 pm on iTV, there is a programme called "Ultimate Movie Toons", and on it there will be a vote for the overall winner of animated movies- either The Jungle Book or The Lion King . I strongly recommend it to anyone on here who has the iTV channel, because this is the ultimate vote!
If nobody else on this forum can watch it, then I'll be sure to post the winner of the vote when the programme is finished!

The one-off special is mainly going to look at the animation and songs of each film. *Come on Lion King!!!*
Other films in the vote will include Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast, possibly Pinocchio and Mary Poppins.

For the peeps in the US, it could be on at an earlier time, say 1:45.

EDIT: Jungle Book won  nevermind, it was a tough contest!

I don't geddit either =/ I mean, The Jungle Book only played one clip, The Bear nessecities, whilst The Lion King played 'Circle of Life' (film and broadway versions), 'Hakuna Matata' and part of Elton John's 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight?'
So HOW did The Jungle Book win over all that??? I mean, honestly <.<

You would be amazed on how many people would rather watch "The Jungle Book" then "The Lion King".
Because from what I heard is that "The Lion King is a kids movie".
I don't know about you but I'm more than likely fed up with the "kids movie" crap.

Exactly!!! If this was a "Kids Movie". It would not have a murder scene, various hidden messages, religious terms, and a suductive looking lioness (Which is difficult for me to not fall in love with. lol). :grr: Umm...What's iTV? Is that another thing from Apple that I never heard of. lol

LOL, iTV is a channal on the TV. There's iTV one, two three and four. It might only be available in the UK actually, I'm not sure... unless of course you have satellite =D
And yeah about all the murder and religious stuffs! Not to mention that Scar is based off *cough*Hitler*cough* and that his hyenas can goose-step...
