'Disney Employee Attacks Handicapped Child'

Welcome Everybody!
I am here to show you an interesting video I found on youtube. (It is over dramatic)

What do you think?
Do you think the parents should have better control over their cub to avoid such circumstances?

I personally think that 'Mr Maul' was perhaps a little rough. But the parents should have kept better control over their cub in the first place, letting him run around in the middle of a parade is just a bad idea, I don't see any other cubs running amok, it's just asking for trouble.

As someone said: "Stay out of Darth Maul's way you should, fail at parenting you have."

(P.S If you're looking for a laugh, look at the comments on his channel :))

Wouldn't have happened if the parents had been, you know, keeping their child back from the parade route. While I do not condone the cast member's actions necessarily, this could have been easily prevented. Poor parenting.

That kid was asking for it if you ask me... no just kidding. But all he did was push him back into the crowd where he belonged. And I don't know about you but if my kid was handicapped I'd have him by my side at all times. Too bad they disabled the comments I was looking forward to reading them.

Exactly!! Seems like they wanted this to be a bit one-sided to me; why would they disable comments? Ah well, various websites are picking this video up, and there's still the guy's YouTube page itself, and the reaction seems to largely be in favor of the parents showing much better parenting skills in not letting their child out of reach. I do hope they're not going to try to sue, because I'm fairly certain they would not have a case.

It was undoubtedly unnecessary for Maul to physically touch the kid. He should have used force-push.

I kid :P Obviously the guy prolly felt bad later, could have handled it better.

That was kind of over-analyzed at the end though. I don't think the kid was permanently injured or anything... To be honest the lesson I'd take out of this is that parents with special needs children need to be responsible enough to attend to those special needs, and kids shouldn't be in the middle of a parade.

Both sides are wrong. The employee shouldn't have attacked the child, but the parents shouldn't have let the child go to the middle of the parade in the first place.

aww, poor kid! I worked with kids with autism and what the call "special needs" and the lesson I learnt the most is to NOT have the kid too far away from you. In his innocent enthousiasm he forgot he was almost in the middle of the road. For me, both parents and that Disney dude failed.
If you work at Disney, you have to deal with children, moron! :tama:
