Oh, plenty of reasons, you just have to know where to observe.

People are probably getting deactivated because there hasnt been much staff action lately, and compensation is needed to keep control.

and people are leaving because theyre starting to dislike it here. just happens I guess.

To answer your question truthfully, they simply broke the rules.
In his case, he posted racial slurs and got warned. Obviously couldn't cope with the rule so he left.

People leave afterwards because they feel that member was treated unfairly.
