My Lion King Forum

Someone wants their forum set up. I am too nice and set it all up for them, since they are too much of a retard to figure it out themselves.
I put a lot of hard work into a forum I make. I make sure everything is orginized and all set for members to join. But that always turns out disapointing and stressful in the end. They either smash all my work, and replace it with their own, and I am like, "If you knew how, then why didn't you do it?" The responses I usually get is "Oh I forgot" and "I thought you did it the right way", ect. Or, they delete it, and many other things. =/ So over the weekend, I help someone move to a new host. And yes, I am the one setting it up for them. In total, I have set up and managed 4-5 forums for people. So anyways, this forum had a lot of boards, so I waste all my studying time setting it up. And they want their banner up. I try as hard as I can to figure out how to put their banner up. They finally know how and they get it up, but only a little shows. GRRRR! Then they MOVE THE FORUM JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO FIX IT! I THEN FIGURE IT OUT, BUT THEN THEY SAY THEY ARE BETTER OFF ON PROBOARDS!!!! GAWD I AM SO MAD. I feel as if my work isn't good enough!!! And I am sick of making people's forums for them, but since I love to help others out, and that is one of the many things I love to do it's so hard to stop! What can I do... any advice??

That is how people feel about sig hopping and art theft its all the same. They are nothing but jerks who have little consideration of how anything is done. SM if anyone requests you to do something you must be very careful of they may toy with you. That's why when it comes to sigs,forums or art you need to ask if the materials provided are even allowed and many other questions.
They need to man up and realize that their dignity is at stake. If I were you, I would send a virus to them and get to my cyber bully side to send them squiring like little boys. Nevertheless I'm sure you had done a good job in those forums and you still managed to improve through this practice based on caution and skill.

ppl should make their own forums instead of ask you and deleting your work. :|

if ppl act like that SM don't worry about it just ignore its the best thing to do i can't believe someone would do that after you went through the hard work

You need to lay down ground rules and be like, "look jerk, either you let me do it all or you can do it yourself. The next time you interfere I'm just going to destroy the board and leave."

Simple.

if they did that, I wouldn't set up a site for them in the future. and let them know when a problem occurs, that they have to stay with the site and not go to a different board or you won't fix it and just leave it unfinished.

but if you want revenge.....you could always spam their site. not that revenge is a good thing.

Perhaps you can talk to them about it and let your thoughts known. In the future, don't work on their forum anymore if they aren't going to contribute anything really.

I think that there are better ways to help people out than putting in hours of work to set up forums that might not end up being used. I haven't come up with too much just yet, but I'm working on it ^.^ lol
