The worst traveling experience of a lifetime!
Posted: January 12th, 2010, 9:11 amOk, so I made it home ok. But oh boy! Was it a struggle! Here's how it went...
Our first plane from Halifax was delayed even before we arrived at the airport, then right before we were going to land in Montreal they said that people flying to Paris will be put on another plane... THE DAY AFTER! I seriously felt like screaming. But anyway, we got a bit of luck and were told to meet an agent outside of the gate and she rushed us to our flight. However, our seats had been given away so my Dad and I were separated the entire flight. Which was ok, I guess... Anyway, because of us our flight to Paris is delayed too cause they had to put our luggage on and such. So, we land in Paris and are told we will miss our flight. But of course, as strong willed as we are we run from terminal 2 to terminal 1, which is 1 1/2 terminals away and we have to use some kind of shuttle. So, we miss the flight and then we must go see this dude about getting a new ticket. Turns out he was a newbie and it took forever! So we get a new flight with Air France to Oslo, and we make it. Except, our luggage is stuck in Paris and we missed the train to Trondheim. So we buy new traintickets, and all that and finally! Tuesday, early in the morning. I am home!
And I am SO gonna go to bed soon!
But other than that, I am fine!
