I got braces yesterday on my top teeth. They're gonna put them on my bottom teeth when more grow in. (I had to have 8 teeth pulled before I got them.) I'm gonna get them colored for every holiday. Like red, white, and blue pattern for 4th of July, red for Valentine's Day, red and green pattern for Christmas, yellow, light blue, etc. for Easter, and orange and black for Halloween! Since my next appointment is in February I'm going to ask my orthodontist to put red color on them for Valentine's Day! Pretty cool huh? But right now since it's been 24 hours since I got them they hurt my teeth like crazy and I have such a headache!

I had braces too, my teeth really needed to be straightned out, and today I’m really happy I did it, my teeth look great now. So it’s definatly worth it, the process itself can be..though, but the end result is great. Good luck!

Yeah, braces are a killer when you first get them, I cried they hurt so bad

Yeah, it still hurts. I didn't really cry because it doesn't hurt that bad. Just the teeth that have brackets on them. And these bands that go on my back teeth are annoying!!! But they hold the wires in so they have a good purpose. Since my next appointment is in February, I'm getting my top braces colored red for Valentines Day! That would be awesome.

Good luck with the braces Kovu427! Pain in the teeth hurt real bad sometimes, don't they? At least the braces will do their job ^^ usually it hurts because your nerves are really close to your gums taking your mind off it might help, I hope =P once again, good luck!
