I honestly have a feeling that 2017 is going to be a better year to be Carl than the past... like decade has been. And, as of this moment, I am determined to do what I can to make it so.

I'm ready, 2017. I'm ready to work hard and drink, I guess. That's the superstition, right? Whatever you do on New Year's Day, you'll be doing all year? Need to get some video games in before tonight's through then.

Today has already provided some small but interesting developments, and I actually saw the new year in doing two things I love (writing and drinking alcohol), so hopefully I'll be doing those things all year.
