Does anyone suffers from a psychological disorder? If so, what diagnosis do you have? And maybe it's a good thing to describe what that diagnosis holds. Myself, I suffer from SAD, seasonal affectional disorder. It means that I get depressed during the winter and when one season changes into another. Depressed means, beeing tired all day, feeling sad and insecure, having baaaaaaaad memory and losing my social interest. I am not getting pills, I had 2 weeks of light therapy and it helped a little, I'm still not very stable in moods, but doing ok.
I am still able to have a good job and going to start an education again this septembre, so I hope that will go well combined with my SAD...SAD, it's pretty sad, lol :p

Now you guys, come on and tell me some!

Well, as long as I am able to live in my own house without getting help, and having my job and develop as a person, I'm not that scared. It just sucks when I want to be happy and I just can't. It's really f.cked up when you can't enjoy life. :p

I'm not dignosed with anything. When my parents say I'm their perfect son, I have to blast that Hannah Montana song. :ehh:

for your SAD I suggest vitamin D. It's really cheep for a pack that'll last you a year, and one of the theories of the causes of SAD is a lack of vitamin D from the summer sun's rays. Vitamin D isn't a drug, it's just like eating an orange so you don't get scurvy lol. I suffer (believe I suffer?)from SAD (which is an unproven thing, but enough people experience it that I think it exists) and this year I'm trying out the vitamins on the suggestion of my doctor. Hopefully all goes well ^.^

I have depression and anxiety as well as my neurological difference, PDD-NOS.

I usually take anti depressants because I went with four years of trying to be a bit more natural in coping with my depression, but that didn't work... .

I just want to say though as far as disorders and all that goes, you are only as disorderly as you believe you are. A doctor could evaluate you for that one day, but that's just it. That one day. You can outgrow and have less of these traits as you experience more of life. :)

I hope it does for you, Mike! I had the SAD problem for a few years, but I hated to see the doctor, because I didn't want to cause worries in my family. My father and brother both suffer from a depressive disorder, so it's party in my genes. I felt it was my fault I was feeling unhappy (really, I might have a bad past, but my current life is very good, I should be more then content with it)
Then my doctor explained that, when the days shorten, which start in septembre of each year, my mood is extra-sensitive for it.
I know the D in SAD is for Disorder, but I'm not malfunctioning, thank god for that. It's just that I have a real hard time beeing alone when I am, and all the stuff I described in my first post in this thread :p

@simbaandshenzifan: I know that, and I don't feel dis-ordered, I try to look at the things I am capable of, and I think we all should look at ourselves that way. And I believe if we'd look at other people that way, disordered or not, it would be way less crap to have a diagnosis.
