Graduate $chool: Where Campbell's soup is a 'specialty'.

Research Labs: Where nothing works and no one knows why.

You know you are in graduate school when you study/research for more than six hours is called a 'good day' and anything less than three hours is nothing.

Going to graduate school after four years of undergrad is like finding a large man and asking - nay, paying him to dropkick you in the crotch, and then once you've finally recovered, the first thing you go and do is find another large man - this one with a blackbelt in taekwondo - and pay him even more money to dropkick you in the crotch all over again.

And yet, I'm still eagerly awaiting a decision on my application to grad school. I think I'm part masochist.

Going to the gym during rush hour is less stressful than reading all those secondary sources.

High School: Oh my gosh, AP classes.

Undergrad: OMG, I have to do chemistry, then I have to write that paper on Tolstoy! Oh, and I have to research on the farm workers in California!

Grad student: LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. One more cat video.

School: Where everything is boring and irrelevant. =/
