iOS7

I couldn't find an existing topic about this, which is sad. :P for those bothering to read this, iOS7 is the newest iteration of the operating system for iDevices, being released for iPhone 4 and later, iPod Touch 5 and later, and all iPads. I've had it since the summer because I have a friend who is a developer, who registered my UDID and gave me the software a day after the first developer preview came out. Now that everyone can get it, what do you all think? Please, let's try not to make this an argument about iPhones 5s or 5c.

I'm glad they added the auto-shutdown feature upon contact with water. That seems like a really nice thing to have. Hopefully, more manufacturers will be able to follow Apple's lead and develop waterproof devices, too. The fact that Apple managed to do that with a software solution is an amazing feat. I think I should start buying Apple products now.

I'm turning into an Apple fan, though not the annoying kind. And to my knowledge there is one android phone which is waterproof now. :O

Still think it looks like something designed by a child though but it works a bit better so that's good.
Also the new cyclemeter app update to coincide with iOS7 added a lot of decent stuff so I have to respect it for that =D

Did you know that if you say waterproof backwards, it sounds like gullible?

Sorry, but I just couldn't resist. I didn't think anyone was actually going to fall for this, lol.

Apart from having my phone end up in a coma halfway through the install the first time I tried to upgrade, it's been working well for me so far :P Took some getting used to and I'm not sure I like the look of it still, but it runs smoothly and has some nice features.

I honestly love the new look, and it seems to run a lot faster. So, Im a fan of the new update! I also like the new iTunes update, as I only use Tunes Radio now whenever I'm working or doing anything like that!

I thought you meant it would shut off if submerged to try and prevent damage, or something lol.

I haven't updated my iPod touch yet (still on 6.0.1) but. I played around with it in the apple store and found it extremely laggy (on two different iPhone 5s's and a 5c and closed everything in multitasking )and I don't like the new icons :P but I do like the android style multitasking :)
Maybe if they fix the lag issue i may update ;)
