Possible Overseas Trip

Hey guys. I just got a message from my family in the Philippines and my 96 year old grandmother, who has been pretty ill in recent years, had to be rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with Pneumonia and an Enlarged Heart and is currently unresponsive. As much as I hope her to get better, the chances of her doing so, especially at her age, are not that great. Unfortunately, given her condition now, she might pass away soon. In that event, I'm probably going to have to travel to the Philippines for the funeral, meaning that my time on MLK will be limited, if I have any at all.

For the members I've spoken to, thanks for your support. It means a lot to me. :)

Aww... Miko, I am so sorry about your grandmother. I sure do hope she recoveres, and if not, I hope she has a peaceful passage.

And if you go to the Philippines for her burial, try and have some fun while being there, even if you are in sorrow...

Again, I am sorry about your grandmother's diseases...

Again, I really have deep condolences (sorry if I spelled that wrong) about your grandmother. I know this is hard for you, and once again, I'm really sorry about this...

I just got an update from the Philippines. It's relatively good news. Grandma is concious and aware of what is going on around her. However, she has a clot in her brain. It can be removed with surgery, but the question about that is her age. She's 95 (Not 96 like reported earlier.), so it's still unknown if the surgery will happen.

At this point, however, it doesn't look I will be heading to the Philippines.
