I just found this slide show on Big Cat Rescue's site. But since I'll end up finding more slideshows/pictures whatever, I'm gonna post this here. Hopefully people will see it more if it's in a new thread.

*WARNING: some people my find this kinda disturbing. No there's no blood, it's just really really sad*

Oh, it's about 201 pics long.. took me about 20- 30 mins to watch, but that's with the pausing to send the really bad ones to people

It's just so unfortunate that people feel the need to do things like that to animals =(

What abuse?

Sorry, but I looked in this link and the only disturbing thing I could see was a lion turned into lion meat and there was that cougar chained to that car. Otherwise, I didn't see any abuse whatsoever. :P

Unless you are trying to say that these animals were abused at one point the the people rescued them in these pictures okay. I just don't really understand what you mean.

Saw the slideshow, and I'm just like...wow.

Big cats are my favorite animals on earth, and the reason why the Lion King ever came to my attention in the first place. But just seeing them in those small, cramped conditions...did not feel very good.

SimbaandShenzifan: Well, it depends on how you look at it. Honestly, I don't believe that tigers deserve to be put indoors in "cages" that barely had room for them to walk around, but...that's all opinion. :goodnight:

Okay, I did see that. Of course Tigers shouldn't be put in cages and confined like that. But I don't know...the people were feeding the cats and the cats looked okay...some of them looked very sad, but some didn't...so...yeah. :P :ehh2:

Major edit: Okay...there was some pictures I missed. I couldn't believe that they would put tigers in pet stores and have them be in 90 degrees heat for such a long time without food or water!

It was a bit of a misunderstanding on my part. There were photos where it didn't look like abuse, but there were others that I could see that clearly it was abuse.

I didn't even watch past the 20th picture, I was so disgusted. I simply can't stand seeing an animal abused. It just makes me so mad :kickassnala: I can't believe people treat them this way... It's horrible. What did the animals ever do to deserve this?

S&S fan..... yeh.. there were some that didn't look abused.... But that concrete floor that most of those cages had... it's REALLY bad on the paws of animals..

*story* Zeke was telling me how one day, they were swimming in his pool. and his dog (coincidently named zeke) was running around it. and because he ran around so much, it tore the padding on his paws... ...

With tigers and lions however, because they are on the hard surface it messes up their paws, and legs.. so, it technically is abuse..

their only crime was being totally cute, awesome, or beautiful :'( Then people just wanted them for themselves.
