Okay, so it has been forever since I've been on here, and I don't know if this is the right forum-eare-thingy for this kind of thing but I need some advice.

So... one of my best friends got up on stage during my high school's talent show and sang a song he wrote about me...in front of the whole school... I've turned him down once already, and later after the show, I told him no again. He still isn't getting it and thinks if he becomes Prom King I will love him. He follows me and plays his guitar during lunch and apparently just talks about me non-stop when I'm not there. I don't know how else to convince him I will not date him and I don't want to be mean. HELP!?

There's a section for this, viewforum.php?f=167 With your problem, you do not need to "convince" someone that you are not interested in them. You do not need their permission not to want to spend time with them. Just be clear and assertive and tell him to leave you alone. If that doesn't work, let him know that if this interest persists, you will consider it stalking and call the police.
