Simple. If you could go back in time to prevent 3 things from happening what would they be and why? (Assume that this is the future and that there are cures for most diseases)

I'm really interested to see people's responses ^^

3 things I would prevent from happening if I could go back in time:

1.) My top most number one is personal. As I imagine most people's would be who are being honest.

2.) Nuclear capabilities. The weapons have done nothing good for mankind, and without nuclear power we'd maybe be a little more juiced to explore energy alternatives that don't carry the side effect of radiation.

3.) 9/11. Not even out of altruistic motives, just because the US has gone to pot ever after in one way or another because of it. That's not to say 9/11 happened in a vacuum for no reason, but I feel the cumulative aftereffects have been even worse.

As much as I'd want to say that I would go back through history in an attempt to end all wars before they ever begin, that would be impossible. So...

1 - I'd go back in time to work for a day. I would then put the money in my savings account, and with interest, when I go back to the future I'd have more money.

2 - I'd bring the technology of the future with me and sell it.

3 - I'd pretend I'm on a secret mission from Starfleet, just to see what their reaction would be. It'd be even better if I could bring a spaceship back in time with me.

Why can't I just live in the future? :hmph2:

1) I'd never leave my old job with the horses. That is my biggest regret
2) Warn the government about the recession in the future to get their backsides;s into gear to prevent it.
3) Get the first ever person who caught a cold/illness to wash their hands xD

1) I'd make sure that I kept my cat inside that night so he couldn't get hit by that car.

2) Go back in time and prevent my aunt from having my mothers and the family dog put down because she couldn't be bothered looking after him

3) Idk force myself to study more.

My first is similar to Jiirani's

1. Either spend more time with my cat, or not have let him outside the morning that he injured himself which resulted in us having to put him down. I was the one who let him outside. Still haunts me to this day, the look on his face when he came back injured. He'd torn all the ligaments or tendons in one of his back legs, but when I let him inside he still walked all the way up the hallway, up the 5 or so steps, into my room and jumped onto my bed. That action is something I remember very profoundly.

2. Personal. Should probably be number 1, but thought of my cat first.

3. Can't really think of anything else right now.

I would go hang out with dinos and film the REAL Jurassic Park. Now THAT'S how you do it, Steven Spielberg!

Never, I will never go back in time and change things.
If you change things or alter stuff then they might have a HUGE impact on the future.

It is pretty dangerous to toy with time let alone try to alter it.

1) I would stop myself and my brother from buying a horrible Animorphs game we thought would be good but wasn't.

2) I would convince Stephanie Mayer not to write Twilight.

3) In the event of failing to prevent Twilight, I would warn my slightly younger self not to read any of the books or watch any of the movies when they came out.
