I've never understood why people don't like Nickelback to be honest (well I technically understand why, just think the hate is somewhat exaggerated as IMO they HAVE done some pretty great songs too)

For solo artists, it's a tie between Adele and Kelly Clarkson.

For singers in bands, my favorites are Anette Olzon, Marco Hietala, and Tarja Turunen (the former female vocals) from Nightwish.

My all time favorite singer is Kim Jonghyun from SHINee (keep in mind he's Korean, so Kim is his family name). I just love his voice. ^^

Favorite non-secular singer: Israel Houghton

Favorite secular singer: Judy Garland
