My Lion King Forum

I find it disturbing that lions have been on (or close to, I don't know where they are now) the endangered species list, and I've vowed that when I become a rich physisist, I'm going to donate a huge some of money (and hopefully time) to causes like this one. It's a great thing to see these people helping out the lions!

I own a book that's a spinoff of that. It's another really big book of Great Cats with a LOT of lion info, which is good!

Yeah when I'm 22-26 or so I plan on visiting Africa. Not to like..become a Lion Guardian but to see the African wildlife. I also plan on buying a huge expensive camera and photographing the bahjeezus out of it.

Lions are currently a "Vulnerable" species. Vulnerable means that they have a somewhat high risk of extinction in the wild. There are two lower categories in the "Threatened" category: Endangered and Critically Endangered. They were endangered just a few years ago I believe, but thanks to groups like Lion Guardians and larger organizations, Lions have moved up to a less threatened category

Yeah, lions are making a comeback!

They used to be all over Africa and even in some places in Asia. Now theres only one little spot in India I think, and of course you can find them in lots of places in Africa still. And you can find them in the zoo!

That reminds me! I found my camera so I can get my zoo pics on here by tomorow and you'll be able to see them whenever you get a chance!

That reminds me as well! I recently went to the zoo. They have a lion and a lioness. I got some pictures I'll upload them now I think.
