I have been wanting to make my own website for a while, but I have never made one before, and I don't know what to do or where to start. I'm on a tight budget right now and can't afford to pay for a website at this time, so I'll need to use something free. If any of you have done this before, could you give me some tips on how I should go about making a website? Are there any do's and don't's I need to know before I start?

Freewebs is a very popular, free, and easy way to make your own website.

As for advice, I would advise you to have good navigation through your website. Try to think as if you're a newcomer to your own website and you don't know where to start. So have a good homepage explaining what the site is about and stuff like that. Also check out other people's websites, especially other's hosted by freewebs, to see how you want to display the information that you have to present.

Yes they have many many templates!

Freewebs is really easy to use, and I think that's a good place to start. Once you learn HTML coding, you could switch to something else. I'm still learning!
