Oh my gawd, tried to install a new GPU driver through the official repository, ***** thing completely killed my GPU's ability to draw anything at all.

A bit better now that I got some writing done, pissed off because it's not enough and I don't know how to continue. Hmm. Hopefully I'll figure it out eventually....
