I recently read a TLK-L post written by Brian Tiemann. It was about a TLK tenth anniversary reunion in which fans of TLK attended along with guests of honor such as Rob Minkoff and Roger Allers. In it, he describes the event. (read it here: http://zazu.lionking.org/getmsg.cgi?138+06+04+7421+7797)The fans asked questions that have been on their mind such as "Who was Nala's Father?" and they were answered...sort of. Nala's father is "either Scar or Mufasa" which means that Nala and Simba were either cousins or step-siblings ( ). They also joked that Nala's father was obviously Roger Allers. LOL. So there you go, from the most official source, Nala's father is either Scar or Mufasa. Which, for me, is disappointing, but whatever. I guess Simba and Nala were related

I think that Nala's father is a rogue.I have my fan version of him.Scar and Mufasa doesn't fit for me .

I'd like to think it was actually Ni. but they never really thought about during production, so they were just basing it on the whole fact that Mufasa and Scar were the only to males in the pride.

but there's the whole thing that there was no mention of that Mufasa was her father and Scar tried to make her his girlfriend, so it doesn't really seem likely that they were her father. and then if Sarafina came from another pride, Nala could be the daughter of that reigning male.....so many possibilities

Yeah, that might be kinda weird since they tried to avoid that in SP with the Kovu Scar thing. It might have just been something where they didn't know what to say and made it up on the spot

Actually, Disney's badly messed up the entire TLK family tree and I don't think they have any idea how to cover it up, so they just don't talk about it. For example, Kovu is technically Kiara's uncle, so why are they both shown as young adults in SP? And why haven't Timon and Pumbaa aged in any of the movies? I mean, they were still the same age even before Simba was born as shown in TLK 1.5! Plus, why does Kovu look so similar to Scar, who, according to the movie, isn't even related to him?
It's all so messed up to me.

I think they didn't specify who was the father of Nala just to bug the crap out of the fanatics like us who can't leave it be without an answer

Well, Nala’s story and family is not that important for the plot in the movie, as she is "the heros love-intrest." Such a shame that she gets neglected like that, in my opinion she is an amazing character, and her story is just as importand and interesting as Simbas.
