Chronicles Of The Pride Lands
Posted: March 2nd, 2010, 2:34 amOkay, first off, I know this thread could just as easily fit into the Fan Fiction section of MLK but out of all do respect, I feel as though these stories go WAY beyond as being mere Fan Fictions. ^^ I'm hoping that if any of you take the time to read them all, you'll understand how I feel and hopefully will look at them in the same light as I do. 
So, what exactly is this? Well, Chronicles Of The Pride Lands is a four part story that basically takes place over Ahadi's reign, all the way up until Simba's rule. These stories were written by two extremely talented individuals named John Burkit and David Morris. The story is broken up into four books, although neither of which are sequels to one another. Think of it more as the same story being told four times, from four different perspectives, but not being merely rehashed over and over again. Each book is unique and incredibly enjoyable in its own right.
I have been drawn into these stories for the past week or so and just finished reading Book 4. I felt so compelled after reading them, that I just had to make a thread aboutt the books to spread the word and to give you all a chance to experience what I consider to be the BEST TLK Fan Fiction out there! ^^ These are very lengthy reads and you will probably need to set aside a few hours for each book but I really think you all will enjoy them as much as I did and I'd love to hear your opinions about the story if you've already read through them. I'll provide the link below to the four books. Be sure to read them in order and also, the first book, The Legacy Of Ahadi might have an updated version out there, since I read it on a different site, so just make sure you find the most updated version of the first book. ^^

Feel free to discuss these books in this thread cause I'm just itching to strike up a meaningful conversation in regards to these amazing stories. I don't really want to say any more than that, since I'll just end up going off on a ttangent about how much I truly adore these stories, so I'll just let you all read them for yourselves. ^^
