i thought it was amusing how the kid has a simba shirt. so that might be why he wanted to eat bugs? so his mom compromised and made bread and cookies that looked like bugs.

and yeah i know in some asian cultures eating bugs is normal i just thought the t-shirt along with the story itself was cute.
