I first saw this pop up on “we got this covered” earlier this morning, which is an awful sham of a site, so I waited for someone more reputable to report it.

Not confirmed yet. Honestly not that excited if true. They already got a tv show and a movie...

Hmm.. interesting. And yeah, not sure why they’d need ANOTHER spinoff about them.
Something I’ve always wanted to see was even if just a series of shorts, something about cub Simba & Nala and some of their adventures prior to Mufasa’s death.

I know there is some of that in some comics or books already, and there probably isn’t much time to work within that timeframe, but I’d love to see some sort of animation with it. Eh, wouldn’t happen but one can hope to have this over another spinoff for the same characters.

I also like how that article spelt Kion as Kyon.

i just read it on the tlg page on fb. not confirmed yet.. dunno how to feel bout it. tlg season 3 was amazing, well the 2nd half was. they have cool characters to work with. I keep looking maybe more news about it will come..

If it's true, I'll (probably) pass. I barely watched and have no interest in the original [i]Timon and Pumbaa[/i] show.

I actually just found out about this on Twitter. Didn't watch the TV show beyond the second half of Season 2. If it's the CGI version with the 2019 voices (which I've been hearing about people being interested in it on social media) then I may give it a go for Billy Eichner. Otherwise, I'll pass. Lol.

Still wish they could do an actual "TLK 3" film with all the original movie voices.

I’d probably pass as well if it actually does come to be. I barely watched like 3 episodes of the original Timon and Pumbaa show. And if it’s anything similar, I likely won’t be interested.

First few episodes of the original was great especially with the original cast. Looking at the news, though, I’m not surprised. If we look at #TheLionKing hashtag from last year on Instagram and Twitter, about 70-80% of viewers kept raving about both characters that they wanted a show with just them. Ten of my friends said they stole the movie. If the new one is the 2019 version I’d be there. If it is something different, then I’ll pass.

I watch this if it turns out to be legit, but I'd much rather have more of The Lion Guard.

If this is the 2019 Timon and Pumbaa, them perhaps they "might" use this show as a lead in for The Sequel to the 2019 Lion King that is "supposedly" being discussed.

@MeerkatOnTheMoon: I'd love an actual sequel to Lion King 2 as well. At least we got a taste of that at the end of The Lion Guard.

@SimbasGuard - Oh I never really thought about that, using the 2019 characters (if they do use them) to lead into the rumored sequel. Nice thought.
