I have heard that the original songs and score will be in the movie. As for what I'd like to see most of it has already been mentioned by others but I'll list a few anyway.

Go PG with the remake, a shot by shot CGI remake of the original is pointless:

A bigger part for Sarabi.

Give Nala's Father a name at the very least.

More lines for Sarafina.

I'd go ahead and keep Scar's attempt at "courting" Nala

I would also like Zira to be included somehow perhaps showing up during Scar's reign

Have both Kiara and Kion born at the end.
