most accurate map?

Hey guys, I'm looking for either a map or help on creating a TLK for something (like a fanfic or role-play) just using the Movies, TLG and Semi-canon for reference.
Just noting here that Kingdom Hearts 2 has Elephant Graveyard to the Northwest, and an old? solitaire map has it to the east/northeast: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--lqmu8_K5SE/U ... Edited.jpg
Spoiler: show

I know it is likely that the Pride Lands are ever changing, because of The Sinkhole in Bunga and The King and the latest Baboons! episode.

I think I'd use the Solitaire image for a starting point at the very least, if not mostly go by it. TLK geography is kind of difficult to map out due to conflicts in the visuals and dialogue, so it's probably best to loosely base your map on that image as it looks like it covers most things decently. Though I think I might increase the distance between some of the areas a bit, I dunno, they look a bit too near one another to me, but that's just semantics.

That is one beautifully illustrated map, although certainly, all the locations look too close to each other and are not spaced out enough. Nevertheless, as Carl states, it makes a good starting point. Perhaps, it could use a legend.

However, it is difficult to piece together a map of the Pride Lands since not much detail goes into it, and it is best left to personal interpretation. Even the dialogue in the first film contradicts itself concerning the location of the Elephant Graveyard. Nevertheless, I stick with Mufasa's words that it lies on the northern border, which means the water hole is beside it. The Lion King 1½ shows another perspective of the geography when the camera pans back from Pride Rock to the meerkat burrows. The gorge and the Elephant Graveyard were off to the front side of Pride Rock (if I remember correctly), but the Solitaire map claims the gorge (and what appears to be Timon and Pumbaa's jungle) is south of Pride Rock.

So, like I said, the geography of the Pride Lands is difficult to piece together. You may have to pick and choose and understand a sense of geography.

Solitaire map is a good starting point, but the Pridelands are severely condensed. Probably to fit the important locations together on one screen more easily. Spread the Solitaire map out much, much more and you're fairly accurate, with the caveat that the Outlands should also be massive and the Elephant Graveyard is part of them, if you go by TLG.
