ok I have been wanting to talk about this like FOREVER and get it off my chest cause it one thing that others me about TLK that doesn't seem accurate. If you know how a REAL lion roars, like this https://youtu.be/1e0_4dwF9A4 then how come its nothing like this? :theroar: :roar4: https://youtu.be/SS7UtpAskjw

the TLK version of a roar aint that accurate to a real lions roar they do more of a barking liking roar rather then a gaping open wide mouth roar, so lets discuss this please

Read/saw/heard somewhere that tiger roars had something to do with the roars seen/heard in the film.

Honestly I think it was for dramatic effect.

The filmmakers took dramatic license with how lions roar because they didn't sound powerful enough so the sound designers and editors worked from scratch. Tiger roars were used in some cases. According to the YouTube video "9 Things You (Probably) Didn't Know About The Lion King", Mufasa's roar was created from a grizzly bear, a tiger, and a F-16 jet. Other roars were from Frank Welker snarling and growling in a trash can:

Well if the had use real lion roars it would made the show even better, so they really dont roar like they should, this kinda bothers me.

It's not really that big of a big deal. A lot of liberties are taken with how the lions function within the TLK universe already, so how they roar isn't anything more unusual than every other change. Besides, most of the roaring we see in the films are victorious and ceremonial roars, not for communication between pride members. In which case, the more realistic take of it would be closer to this:

Obviously, they're not gonna do that. It'd look silly. It'd seem as if Simba was have some sort of fit.
