It seems they are having trouble with what they can do with him as there are certain rules in place. Simba can't be a mount like rajah because he's a king, and because he also talks that also makes things a little trickier.

They also seem to have trouble with animating 4 legged animals in a 3D space but understand the demand for 'the lion king' characters based on other articles I have read.

Most likely, they are having issues animating Simba in a way that will still have him be a playable character. Plus, there are a lot of animations in Disney Infinity which are clearly off limits to a realistically detailed lion, which Simba is. (Think riding in a car)

I wouldn't be surprised if the developers are finding many easy reasons to delay implementing in Simba as a character, simply due to how different and how much harder it will be to introduce him. If they do, I suspect that he will be a higher-than-normal price DLC.

Even if he is higher priced as a figurine then I will still pay that price.

I just want to play as Simba in a modern videogame.

I didn't want to imply that it was a bad thing. If he came out, I might even try installing Infinity on Linux just to get to play him.

I'd buy him and disney infinity whatever.0 just to play as him.

If they include Nala then I will definitely buy her too.
