Rafiki's Tree & Miscellaneous Magic

Like this has no basis in fact.
But like considering that Rafiki is magic I think it'd be cool if his tree didn't really follow the rules of space.
Like if you want to walk there it could take 3 days one one day but like an hour on another.
Especially since it seems to be outside of the Pride Lands.
But like I find TLK magic fascinating because to me it obviously exists but in a very unexplained a plot-centric way.
And I wonder like whether there are others who practice it in the TLK universe.
I know in my fanfic universe I have a sort of monestary composed mostly of birds but also of other animals that act as travelling bards and historians, and especially gifted birds can act as oracles (because the birds in heaven sing a song of the past, present, and future, and certain bird bards can hear them).
But I also have a weird system of afterlives in mine
