Well, as everybody knows, unfortunately, they didn't make an official Brazilian Cast recording for CD here in Brazil ;/ But someone who went to the show recorded all songs in Brazilian Portuguese and uploaded them on Youtube. So I decided to share them with you guys, check them out:

Unfortunately, the audio quality is poor...probably they were recorded by celphone or some app of recording. If you are a huge fan of multilanguage version of Lion King, you can notice the lyrics in Portuguese of Brazilian version of musical are not the same of the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the movie, just like the others ones (Spanish, French etc..) For some reason, Gilberto Gil (responsible for the Brazilian lyrics in the musical) kept the line "Os seus problemas, você deve esquecer" in Hakuna Matata song..

It's such a bummer that for so many countries they didn't make an actual CD
(like Korea aswell)

The musical will be next in Mexico, wondering if they'll produce a CD.

I heard these recordings shortly after they were posted on Youtube, since I was very curious about Cub Simba's and Adult Nala's voices and kept trying to find the soundtrack, in vain. I knew that the lyrics would be different, but I was positively surprised by how similar to the European Portuguese dub of the movie they were, so I didn't find them that unfamiliar. I can't say the same about Brazilians who grew up with their country's dub, of course. Also, the voices are quite good. My favourite voice is honestly Cub Simba's, since he sounds boyish but in a childish way, which is adorable.
