I was watching TLK, when I saw another cub in the den! It has colored paws, so it wasn't Nala. I think there's a possibility that Disney added Mheetu sleeping in the den, or some other cub from the comics. Please share your theories and opinions.
I believe that the cub is just a quick version of Mheetu or one of Simba's cubhood friends.

Alot of people beleive it's Nala, not Mheetu. Since Nala was a female, and concept sketches of Mheetu, he had a little tuft like Simba.

I know, but it could also be one of Simba's cubhood friends. It has coloured paws, so I don't think it's Nala. It could be a lazy version of Mheetu.

Yeah, but in TLK, I saw when the lionesses where crying, all the lionesses had colored toes.

For such a short scene, I believe Disney was just filling in some random lionesses and cub(s). If it was supposed to be Nala, they probably got one of their lower animators to draw her instead of the head animator because again, it was a very short scene.

Mheetu was cut from production before reaching the storyboards, so I doubt there would be any reference to him in TLK whatsoever.

i just think its Mheetu o.o

Any theories as to why you just think it's Mheetu?

Even here there are some lionesses with colored toes. I think it's just lazy animation Besides, Mheetu's supposed to be a little smaller than Nala, and that cub and Simba look like they're about the same size.

I'm pretty sure Mheetu hadn't been invented as a character at the time of TLK's release o.() Must be Nala lol
